The rooftop terrace at Ifigenia By Captain Michalis offers amazing views of the city. It was a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The location of the hotel was also very convenient, with easy access to the old town and restaurants.

I had a wonderful stay at Ifigenia By Captain Michalis. The room was exactly as advertised, clean, spacious, and with a comfortable bed. The breakfast served on the street was delicious and diverse. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet area near the harbor, restaurants, and shops. The hot water and AC worked perfectly, although we didn't need the AC. Plus, the rooftop terrace offered a stunning view of the harbor, perfect for relaxing with a drink.

I do recommend this hotel.

This place has a quirky room with a spiral staircase, homely touches, and excellent WiFi. the breakfast in the street was tasty, interesting, and varied every day. the location is perfect, in the center of the old town but just off the busier streets. the staff is very friendly and willing to help. an exceptional atmosphere and great value for money.

ifigenia by captain michalis was an absolute dream. the atmosphere was captivating, transporting us to another world. the staff went above and beyond, even providing a breakfast package for our early departure. can't wait to return.

Bathroom door didn't close properly.

Located in the heart of the historic center, this hotel was close to everything and yet tucked away in a quieter street, providing a peaceful atmosphere. the view from the rooftop terrace was amazing. Guests raved about the labor of love put into the room decor and the cozy atmosphere provided. the breakfast served next door was ample and delicious, according to visitors.

Some guests complained about a lack of hot water in the bathroom for showers.

the view from the room was absolutely beautiful, and I especially loved the jacuzzi tub and the complimentary bottle of wine that was provided. the staff, particularly Yorgos/Giorgos, were incredibly helpful and offered great suggestions and tips. the room had an authentic feel, although it was a bit outdated, and its location in the city center of old Chania was ideal. being close to the harbor and a free parking lot was very convenient. the atmosphere and traditional charm of the house added to the overall experience, and the owners were friendly and polite.

The room I stayed in was smaller and not as nice as expected from the photos.

We had an amazing stay in this city. The hotel was perfect location, close to the port in one of the quiter streets. We loved the fine views from our private rooftop terrace and the lovely traditional breakfast served each morning on the shaded balconies. The staff was also excellent and very helpful.

We had a very poor night's sleep due to the loud noise coming from a nearby night club. our room was cramped and felt small for two people.
